September 8, 2021, marked the solemn opening of the 2021-2022 initiation year at the CICM International Novitiate "Buisson Ardent."
The Provincial Superior, Father Didier Badianga, who presided over the Eucharist, had the right words to invite the new novices to deepen their vocation and their commitment to CICM in all sincerity. Of the 13 novice candidates admitted for this initiation year, 12 were present: two from ACO, five from AFA, and five from KIN. The 13th novice from LAC was to arrive on the evening of the following day. The Assembly of God constituted for the occasion welcomed the novices with applause after the Provincial Superior declared the 2021-2022 initiation year open.
Three formators from three different countries will accompany the 13 novices. We hope that with the Lord's help, they will have a friendly community and intercultural experience.
