The Superior General, with the consent of his Council, reappointed Fr. Didier Badianga Tona as Provincial Superior of the Province of Kinshasa (KIN).
Father Didier Badianga Tona was born on January 20, 1975, in Kangu (RD Congo). He professed his first vows on October 7, 1996, in Kinshasa (RD Congo). After his theological studies at the École Théologique Saint-Cyprien in Ngoya (Cameroon), he was sent as a missionary in the Philippines in 2003. He was ordained a priest on August 19, 2006, in Kasibu (Philippines). From 2011 to 2017, he was a Formator at Asia International Formation Community (AIFC) in Manila (Philippines). From 2017 to 2018, he was Rector of the CICM Collegio Missionario in Rome.
He was appointed Provincial Superior of KIN on May 11, 2018, effective as of January 1, 2019, and reappointed Provincial Superior of the same Province on June 7, 2021.
